My frustration with hot humid weather had peaked just before vacation. I took three days off after the Danville half. Wednesday when I arrived in Montana, the cool air revived me and I went for a quick run. I ran a 28:44 5K. I broke a barrier (under 29:00) I thought was unattainable for me. I ran a cool down lap and stretched out and started to rethink my retirement from running. This week was much needed and right on time.
